March Wedding Floral: Three Ways to go Green

Green is big this month. REALLY big. Every corner we turn we get an eye full of that emerald green that’s shamelessly associated with March. Here we’ve gathered three of our favorite ways to tastefully incorporate a little greenery into your wedding palette.

Eucalptus – So versatile it should be illegal. Plus, we’re absolutely obsessed with it’s cool shade of green.

Succulents – Arguably the most trending varietal of the year, these little guys make for fantastic accent pieces or our personal favorite, party favors.

Six Things to do in Miami This Week

Miami Floral Collage

As March rolls on and the winter weather just doesn’t seem to want to leave, we here at H.Bloom HQ are dreaming of Miami. As one of our newest markets, Miami has us craving sun, sand, and cocktails… or at least a life sans winter jackets. Whether you have the envious ability to jet down there this very second, or you’re lucky enough to live near this vibrant city, here are six things to do for the rest of your week.

Tuesday - Attend the Life is Art event at Brasileiro Miami. If you want to broaden your artistic palette or do a little healthy networking, this is the perfect injection of inspiration for your week.

Wednesday – Enjoy some hump day happy hour at the laid back River Oyster Bar, and don’t forget to order the oysters.

Thursday – Grab a light lunch at the local bookworm hotspot, Books & Books. Feed the body and mind simultaneously with their cafe and impressive selection of books.

Friday – Sucker for a good cocktail? Make it a point to stop by The Regent Cocktail Club, one of Miami’s trendiest new bars. This speakeasy inspired lounge features some of Miami’s best mixologists, and is a breath of fresh air amongst all the not-so-tempting ¬†blue slush signature cocktail of Loco Coco Pete’s.

Saturday – Spend the day in the iconic Miami sun, either renting jet skis at the Miami Beach Marina or relaxing on the picturesque Bal Harbour Beach.

Sunday – Treat yourself to some retail therapy at The Webster. The three levels offer a variety of brands from Chanel to Tom Ford, and if that doesn’t cure your woes, grab a cocktail at their in-house bar & restaurant.

Color Lovers: A Soft & Sophisticated Floral Palette

A recent wedding we did in Washington, D.C. has our heads in the clouds with this soft and sophisticated color palette. Nothing like pairing a cream bridal bouquet with blush bridesmaid’s bouquets to fill the air with love and romance.

Cream Bridal Bouquet

Varietals include garden roses, cream roses, spray roses, ranunculus, a phalaenopsis orchid, calla lilies, silver brunia and lambs ear.

Blush Wedding Bouquet

Varietals include cream & blush roses, italian ranunculus, rice flower, silver brunia, and lambs ear.

One Flower, Five Ways: Anemones

We can’t help but swoon every time we see a beautiful arrangement with anemones. It’s one of those iconic blooms that will never, ever go out of style. Anemones are incredibly versatile and pair with almost every color palette, making them the perfect accent flower for weddings year round.

Wedding Wednesdays: January Floral Inspiration

Although the trademark holiday wedding floral has passed its prime, that doesn’t mean winter floral has as well. We love the minimal color palettes, cool tones, and earthy elements that make their way into January wedding floral. It’s the perfect compliment to the warmth brought on by newlyweds blissfully in love.
